Devotees coming to Sabarimala should keep away from the practices that undermine the divinity and sanctity of the abode of Lord Ayyappa says Tantri Kandarararu Rajeevaru. Devotees should not burst the coconut at places where they are not allowed to do so.
They should not pore rose water on devotees and should restrain from burning camphor and agarbatti s according to their wish. They should also stop bringing plastics in their ‘Irumudikettu’. He urged that the senior swamis who accompany the younger ones should enlighten the knowledge about the tradition of sabarimala and devotees should have a care sense for the environment at Sabarimala.
